Description
This is a very tall copper slag wall associated with a former waste tip tramroad. It features a steeply battered profile and a ramped projecting bridge abutment, resulting in a complex geometry. The slag blocks are closely bedded and measure 22 centimeters deep, with lengths of 43 centimeters and 20 centimeters. You can see putlog holes on the abutment, which were used to support the bridge deck.
