Description

This is a large flat tomb slab located to the east of the Church of St Ffraed, dedicated to Henry Vaughan. The tomb is inscribed with "Henricus Vaughan Siluris MD OBIT 1695" along with a Latin epitaph. It features a large engraved crest depicting three bonnetted faces with a chevron. The edge of the inscription is grooved. At the foot of the tomb, there is a separate stone engraved with "HVE 1689."
