Description

The ice house at Plas Ystrad, Coed y Plas, is built into a hillside and features steps leading down to a damaged low door with a brick arch. There is a rendered segmental arched tunnel that leads to a second door, which opens into a circular ice chamber with a dome-shaped brick roof. The interior is circular and showcases a finely crafted stone domed roof.
