Description

The icehouse at Plas Gwyn is set into a ridge to the north of the house. It features a brick tunnel entrance, and its arched roof is covered with soil. There is a small rectangular forecourt with three or four slate steps leading down to the entrance. The passage originally had three doors, and the chamber inside is ovoid in shape.
