Description
Glantrifi, also known as The Post Office, is a mid to late 19th century house and shop built from grey coursed stone. It features a slate roof with stone stacks at the ends and gable bargeboards adorned with pendant finials. The building is two stories high with a three-window front. The openings have painted stone voussoirs. On the first floor, there are three sash windows with marginal glazing bars and slate sills. The ground floor has two original broad six-pane shop windows with thick glazing bars and slate sills, along with a central four-panel door that has arched upper panels and a traceried overlight. The northern end of the building features a similar sash window on the first floor. The lower northwest rear wing has a door on the north side and a one-window range of similar sashes, also with stone voussoirs and slate sills. There is a stone stack at the western end, and an addition is present on the southern side of the rear wing.
