Description

Y Garth and Penybanc are a pair of early to mid 19th century houses built from rubble stone, featuring imitation slate roofs. They each have two storeys and a double fronted design. Penybanc has two small 9-pane sash windows above with painted stone sills, two small 12-pane sash windows below, and a central door with recessed stone voussoirs and keystones. The door is a 20th-century replacement set within a 20th-century glazed lean-to porch. Y Garth has a different stonework style, likely from a later period, with similar sized windows but featuring 4-pane casements and a central door. It also has similar ground floor voussoirs above the door and a ledged door. This house also includes a 20th-century glazed lean-to porch. Both houses have flat-roofed rear additions.
