Description
The White Hart Inn is a late 18th or early 19th century inn. It is constructed of whitewashed rubble stone with a slate roof, and has rebuilt stone end stacks, the one on the left being larger. The front facade has an off-centre three-window design and is two storeys high, featuring 12-pane sash windows and a central door. The door and window heads have stone voussoirs, and the windows have slate sills. The central entrance has a flush-panelled six-panel door, sheltered by a 20th-century timber hood. A rear outshut adjoins the main building.
Lower wings extend from each end of the building. The wing to the left is integral and contains a casement window pair on the first floor, and a 20th-century window and half-glazed door on the ground floor. The wing to the right is an addition, with a 20th-century 16-pane sash window on the ground floor and a casement window pair on the first floor.
