The building is made of coursed grey stone and features a slate roof with a prominent stone central stack that has four shafts with chamfered angles. It is one storey with a loft and has a double-fronted design. The pointed central doorway is flanked by a pair of casement windows on each side, all adorned with chamfered cut stone voussoirs and three deep slate hoodmoulds. The cottage has a ledged door, with a loft window at each end and carved bargeboards on the gable. There is also an added rear lean-to.
