Description

Cenarth Bridge is a notable three-arch bridge made of rubble stone, partly located in Carmarthen District. It features broad elliptical arches supported by short stone piers, with the arch rings set slightly back. The two spandrels have large circular openings that help reduce the weight of the structure and allow floodwater to pass through. The bridge is topped with a rubble stone parapet that has rough slate coping.
