Description
Penybanc and Y Garth are a pair of early to mid 19th century houses constructed from rubble stone, featuring imitation slate roofs. They each stand two storeys tall and have a double fronted design. Penybanc has two small 9-pane sash windows on the upper floor with painted stone sills, and two small 12-pane sash windows below, along with a central door that has recessed stone voussoirs and keystones. The door is a 20th-century replacement located within a 20th-century glazed lean-to porch. Y Garth displays different stonework, likely from a later period, and has similarly sized windows but features 4-pane casements and a central door with similar ground floor voussoirs and a ledged door. It also has a lean-to 20th-century glazed porch. Both houses include flat-roofed rear additions.
