Cottage, Grange Distillery, Grange Road, Burntisland

This mid-19th century cottage, located at Grange Distillery on Grange Road in Burntisland, is a single-storey building with an attic and features three bays. It is constructed from droved ashlar stone and includes a base and eaves course, quoin strips, and raised margins.

The west elevation, which serves as the entrance, is symmetrical. It has a deep-set panelled door at the center, topped by a 2-pane fanlight, with windows in the flanking bays. There are also 19th-century rooflights and slate-hung canted dormer windows on the outer bays.

The cottage features a 12-pane glazing pattern in its timber sash and case windows, and it is topped with grey slates. The structure includes ashlar coped skews and coped ashlar stacks with polygonal cans and thackstanes.

Additionally, there is a coped rubble boundary wall that originally formed part of the distillery wall.
