Long Byre, Grange Distillery, Grange Road, Burntisland

This is an earlier 19th century pair of single-story feeding byres that were later converted into warehouses, situated on ground that slopes to the east. The building is constructed of rubble with long and short dressed quoins, and it is topped with a large catslide pantile roof. The south side of the building features a stepped roofline, with an overhang supported by timber posts on the left side, and a derelict opening roughly in the centre. A large timber door, marked "Duty Free Warehouse No 8," is located on the west side, and a door with cast-iron access stairs is on the north side of the eastern range.

The Long Byre was built before Grange Cottage and Grange Flats. It originally comprised two feeding byres. In 1994, planning consent was granted for demolition, though this has not been carried out.
