Description
This mid-19th century cottage at 59 High Street in Pittulie is a single storey and attic structure with three bays. It is built of squared pinned dark rubble, featuring contrasting tooled ashlar dressings and painted joints. The entrance is located at the center, and there are late 19th century canted wallhead dormers in each outer bay, which contain 4-pane glazing. The cottage has coped end stacks and a slate roof.
At the rear, there is a small single storey, two-bay cottage situated in the garden, parallel to the front cottage. This rear cottage is also constructed of rubble, has a doorway in the gable, end stacks, and a slate roof. There is a modern rear dormer and extension added to the main cottage.
