Description

54 High Street in Pittulie is a cottage built around 1800. It is a single storey with an attic and features three bays facing the street, along with a continuous two-bay extension at the east gable, which is likely from a slightly later date. The exterior is made of heavily pointed rubble. The central entrance is located under a slightly raised and swept roof and has a plank door. The two-bay addition also has a doorway beneath a raised and swept roof, with an enlarged former shop window on one side. The windows are boarded, and there are end stacks, with the one at the extreme west featuring a shaped cope. The main cottage has a pantiled roof, while the former shop has a corrugated asbestos roof.
