Description
Currer Hall Cottage is a mid-18th century cottage constructed from coursed squared stone and topped with a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features three bays. It has quoins and a central boarded door set within a plain chamfered surround. The windows are all three-light with flat-faced mullions, except for the one above the door, which is square and fitted with a modern casement. The cottage also has shaped kneelers, moulded stone coping, and chimney stacks at both ends as well as one on the ridge. At the rear, there is a five-light chamfered mullion window. Inside, the cottage boasts a large inglenook fireplace with a segmental arch.
