Description
Nesfield Manor House is a house dated 1662, with likely alterations from the early 20th century. It is built from coursed squared gritstone and has a graduated stone slate roof. The house has two storeys and four bays, along with a rear outshut and quoins. The third bay features a 20th-century glazed door with chamfered quoined jambs and a lintel inscribed "CFL 1662".
The windows include a 20th-century two-storey canted bay in the first bay, and throughout the house, there are recessed chamfered mullion windows. The ground floor windows consist of configurations of 5, 1, 4, and 1 light, while the first floor has 3, 1, and 3 lights. There are single-light windows with segmental heads. A drip moulding runs above the ground-floor windows, and there are stepped label stops over the door and main windows.
To the right of the door, there is a large ridge stack, and a single-flue stack is located between the first and second bays. On the right return, there is a 3-light window with a hoodmould on the ground floor and an inserted 4-light window in the gable above. A garage range to the left of the house is noted as having no special interest.
