Description

A row of four cottages dating from the late 18th and early 19th centuries, originally built to house workers at Low Mill, the first worked spinning mill in West Yorkshire. The cottages are constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with a watershot finish, and have a stone slate roof. They have two storeys and a seven-bay arrangement. The windows are four-paned sashes with roughly dressed monolithic lintels and sills. Each cottage has a doorway with a monolithic lintel, and there are four brick stacks on the ridge.
