Description

The gate piers at the south entrance to Farfield Hall date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of ashlar stone with carved freestone details. The piers feature pilasters that have raised and fielded panels, a cornice, and consoles on the sides. At the top, they are adorned with large pineapple finials. Simple wrought iron gates complete the entrance.
