Description

The walls and gateway enclosing the graveyard and Friends' Meeting House, located on Bolton Road in Addingham, are likely from the early to mid-18th century. They consist of four mortared stone walls that completely surround the graveyard and are attached to the Friends' Meeting House. The walls are made of hammer-dressed stone with rubble lining and are approximately 5 feet 6 inches high, featuring semicircular copings. The ashlar gateway has composite jambs with a chamfered surround and an inner rebate for the gate.
