Description
The boundary walls and entrance gate to the burial ground of the Friends Meeting House are likely from the late 17th century, with the gates altered in the 20th century. Constructed from marlstone ashlar and rubble, the walls are approximately 1.3 metres high and enclose three sides of the former Quaker burial ground, stretching about 60 metres from Horn Hill Road to the Meeting House. The walls feature a two-course ashlar coping, while the northern section is made of rubble. The gatepiers and gates are from the 20th century. This structure is included for its group value.
