Description

Cornerstones is a house located on Tanners Lane in Adderbury, dating from the early 18th century and altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed squared marlstone with wooden lintels and features a thatched roof with brick stacks. It has a three-unit plan with a rear wing and stands two storeys tall. The left two bays of the three-window front are slightly higher and have a regular arrangement of 16-pane sash windows on the first floor and 2-light casements below, including a lower central window that was formerly a doorway. The right bay contains additional casements and a 20th-century stone porch. A wing projects from the centre of the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
