Description

SP4735 ADDERBURY CHURCH LANE (West side) Adderbury East 7/7 Dunston

II House. Late C17/early C18. Coursed squared marlstone with wooden lintels: thatch roof with brick stacks. 4-unit plan in 2 builds. 2 storeys. 4-window front has small 2-light casements of various sizes and all renewed; bay 3 also has a doorway, and bay 4 has 2 ground-floor windows plus a blocked doorway. Bays one and 2 may be rather earlier. Roof has stacks to right of bays one, 2 and 4. Left gable wall has an exposed truss which probably relates to a demolished adjoining building. Interior not inspected but noted as having a large open fireplace.
