Description

Westway Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is built of coursed marlstone rubble with wooden lintels and features a concrete plain-tile roof with a brick stack at one end. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The front elevation is irregular with five windows; it includes a central six-panel door, a three-light casement window to the left, and a 20th-century canted bay window to the right. The first floor has small casement windows with two, two, and three lights. The steep-pitched roof has a stack on the left and is slightly raised at the eaves. The interior has not been inspected.
