Description
The courtyard and burial ground walls, along with the gate piers, belong to the Friends' Meeting House and were built in 1825 for Mr. Tweedy. The gate piers are made of freestone ashlar, while the walls are constructed from rubble with freestone copings, and some sections feature rubble with scantle slate copings topped with clay ridge tiles. The walls enclose a rectangular site, with the burial ground located to the west and the meeting house positioned towards the east. There is a gateway at the south-east corner. The piers include plinths and square edge copings, and the south and east walls have similar copings. Additionally, there are coping ramps to the right of the gateway.
