Description
Farfield House is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with additions and alterations made in the mid-20th century. It features a stone slate roof and is two storeys high with three bays. The building has raised quoins and a plinth, constructed from coursed stone. The windows are 16-paned sashes with raised surrounds, except for the ground floor window, which has a 12-paned sash, suggesting it may have originally been the doorway. There is a first-floor band and moulded gutter brackets. The gables are coped with kneelers and stacks. The doorway to the right is part of a later addition and is of no particular interest.
