Description

8 St Marys Street is a house that likely served as a service wing to the adjacent No 7. It is constructed of rubble stone with inscribed pointing similar to No 7, featuring an imitation slate roof and a brick stack at the east end. The building is two storeys high and has a double front. It includes plate glass sash windows in the two upper windows and the ground floor window on the right, while the ground floor left features a tripartite sash window. The windows have slate sills and cemented heads. The entrance is a central six-panel door, although all the panels have been replaced with glass, and it is topped by a hood supported on timber brackets.
