Description

Hay Cottage Bakery is a two-storey building featuring roughcast and render frontages. The front of No 7 has three windows, while No 8 has two windows. The roofs are covered with slate and have undulating bracket eaves, with a brick chimney stack on No 8. The first floor has casement windows, and there is an additional window to the right of No 7 above the panelled door entrance. The building showcases attractive Victorian shop fronts that include carved fascia ends and bracket cornices. The central entrances are splayed, and the shop windows are supported by octagonal colonnettes, with panelled stallrisers and end pilaster strips.
