Description
Fine Fare is a two-storey building with an attic, featuring a two-window rendered front and a high plinth. It has a slate roof and brick chimney stacks, with a swept roof dormer located at the center. The first floor has recessed 12-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has later sash glazing in splayed bays, flanked by moulded cornices beside an off-centre modern door that has a bracket hood.
The right end of the building is constructed from whitewashed rubble with a slightly battered base, set into the slope of the back fold. The rear roof verge is steeper and slightly lower, reflecting the original pitch. A cross range extends to the rear, stepping out slightly beyond the casement and sash windows, and continues further back to accommodate a massive chimney breast with a tall stone stack. There is also a smaller brick stack at the rear, with a slate roof lean-to beyond the gable end of the cross range, which features projecting purlin ends.
Inside, one truss is visible on the first floor, supported by a moulded knee below the beam. The attic has feather stop chamfered purlins, and there are boarded doors throughout the building.
