Description

This is a section of the boundary wall to Hay Castle, built from coursed rubble with a plinth. It features a prominent and taller 4-centred entrance that aligns with the now blocked northwest entrance to the castle house. The entrance retains one finial and has a panelled and studded door. There is a pilaster at the left end, beyond which the wall steps and curves down around the corner. This structure has group value with Hay Castle.
