Description
Mortimer House is a late Georgian style building that stands three stories tall and features four bays. The front is made of coursed rubble with a rubble plinth. It has a slate roof with wide boarded eaves and a central blue brick chimney stack. The windows are small pane sash windows, with nine panes on the second floor and twelve panes below, all featuring voussoir lintels and weathered keystones. To the left, there is a boarded cellar opening, while the right side is corrugated. There are steps leading up to entrances at either end, each adorned with broad bracket hoods and reeded architraves, as well as panelled reveals and six-panel part glazed doors. The side elevations are also made of rubble, and there are small pane sash windows at the rear. Inside, the interior is plain and includes six-panel doors.
