Description

5 Gaol Street is a pair of three-storey buildings with scribed rendered fronts. No 5 features two windows, while No 7 has one window. Both buildings have a slate roof and red brick chimney stacks. The small pane sash windows are notable, with only one window on the second floor of No 5. The shopfront of No 5 is plain, featuring panelled pilasters and a half-glazed door, while No 7 has a modern shop front. The right-hand gable end of the building is canted back and was formerly attached to an adjoining building.
