Description

Maclona is a pair of three-storey, two-window houses located at Nos 6 and 7 New Street in Aberdyfi. The buildings are rendered with a slate roof and feature brick chimneys.

On the second floor, there are 9-pane hornless sash windows set within shallow cement architraves, although the lower sashes in No 7 have had their glazing bars removed. The first floor has 12-pane hornless sash windows, also in shallow cement architraves, with similar alterations to the lower sashes in No 7. The ground floor features a central doorway that is set back, with panelled jambs and a shallow cement architrave. There are 12-pane sash windows on either side of the doorway, each set in a shallow cement architrave and adorned with a keystone.
