Description

Lloran House is a two-storey house built from locally sourced shaley stone, featuring two stone chimneys. The roof is covered with small slates and has a tile ridge, matching the two adjacent houses on the right. The front facade has three windows positioned strongly to the left, with their heads set more than a metre below the eaves. Below these windows, there is a door and flanking windows that align with the windows above. The windows are 16-pane hornless sash types in exposed frames, maintaining the same proportions both above and below. They are topped with segmental stone arches and have concrete sills. The front door is modern and semi-glazed, accompanied by light side screens and a canopy. To the right, near the adjacent cottage, there is an entry with a boarded door, and high up, a slate displays the date 1857. A small modern window has been added to the first-floor gable end wall, along with a small modern rooflight.

The rear elevation is three storeys high, featuring two small-pane windows at a high level and a rear entry door. There is a later stone and slate lean-to on the right, alongside a second lightly constructed lean-to.
