Description
This is a two-storey, two-window end-of-terrace cottage dating to the 18th century. It is constructed of irregularly coursed local shaley stone, with a roof of small slates. The eaves and verge project moderately, and there is a brick end-chimney on the left side. A later lean-to extension, built using similar materials, extends from the rear. A low stone garden wall runs along the front and left side, and a taller stone yard wall, incorporating a doorway to the rear, is also present. The upper-floor windows are simple two-light casements. The ground-floor windows are larger two-light windows with Gothic-style iron glazing bars. A modern semi-glazed door is centrally located, slightly to the right, and is sheltered by a simple canopy.
