Description

The Waterloo Stone is a historical marker made from a single piece of slate, shaped roughly like a triangle. One side of the stone features a smooth surface with the carved words "Cae / Waterloo / GB / 1815" and a simple foliage design at the top. The carved letters have been highlighted with white paint. The right edge of the stone is chamfered.

The stone shows slight splitting at the top and is secured with a thick iron wire. It has been placed on a rough concrete base.
