Lodge at former North driveway to Harpton Court

The lodge at the former north driveway to Harpton Court is a classical building from the mid-19th century. It features freestone facings with ashlar dressings, including Doric corner pilasters. The structure is two storeys high and has two windows, a plain band course, and a plinth. The hipped slate roof is set behind a blocking course and has a heavy dentil cornice, with a linked pair of stacks, partly made of brick, at the rear eaves. The window surrounds have keyblocks and sill brackets, with arched heads on the ground floor and sashes that include small-pane glazing. Above the Doric porch, there is a circular clock face, and the porch has a key-blocked doorway underneath. There is also a small set-back extension at the rear.
