Description
Cefn is a farmhouse dating from the 20th century, featuring an attached barn and a lofted cart-shed, all under a single-roofed range with a slate roof. The farmhouse has been altered and includes two small rendered 20th-century ridge stacks, one on the left and another between the second and third bays. It stands two storeys high and consists of three bays, which are significantly offset to the right. The exterior is finished in painted roughcast, with three narrow upper windows that have 20th-century 8-pane hopper-type windows. On the ground floor, there is one 20th-century window to the left of a large 20th-century roughcast range that includes the front door and a triple window.
The outbuildings consist of a barn made of rubble stone, featuring brick-headed barn doors that are off-centre, along with two loops on the right and one on the left. Adjacent to the barn is the lofted cart-shed, which has two loft windows above two elliptical arched cart entries that are supported by 19th-century three-ring arches and a square stone pier. The roof extends to the right over a full-height section that is fronted in corrugated iron. The property is not available for inspection.
