Description
Rushton Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with early 19th century and 20th century alterations. It is constructed of coursed and dressed rubble, featuring blue machine tile and stone slate roofs. The farmhouse has a brick end stack on the left and a ridge stack on the right of the entrance. The front is two stories high and has three ranges of three-light block mullioned casement windows, which are evenly spaced. There is an additional single-bay range that is set lower at the right-hand end, along with a 20th century gabled single-storey porch situated between the two groups of windows. To the right-hand end, there is a lower stable and hay loft, which is set back and has stone steps leading to the first-floor entrance. Additionally, there is a single-storey shed with a stone slate roof, slightly set back to the left-hand end.
