Description
The Old Post Office is a former shop building made of whitewashed rubble stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring rendered stacks. It stands two storeys high and has nine-pane hopper windows with painted brick cambered heads and stone sills. There are three windows on the upper floor and two on the lower floor, positioned under the outer windows. The centre of the building has a shopfront with a door to the left and a window where a former door was located to the right. The shopfront includes a recessed door on the right, with side piers that have consoles flanking the fascia. On the left side, there is a corrugated-iron lean-to, while the right end wall is covered with 20th-century slate hanging. Additionally, there is an added parallel range at the rear of the building. The property is not available for inspection.
