Rhosfach House

Rhosfach House is a former house and shop, constructed from white-painted rubble stone, featuring renewed slate roofs and brick stacks. The building is one and a half storeys tall and has a double front with two upper windows that break the eaves, set under renewed boarded gables. The upper windows are horned plate glass sashes, while the lower windows are 4-pane sashes, with a central boarded door. The ground floor has slab lintels and painted slate sills, and the right end wall is painted rendered.

To the left of the house, there is a two-storey, two-bay shop that has a straight joint with the house. The shop features two 4-pane casements below the eaves over the door, along with a large 9-pane shop window that has brick heads. Two panes of the shop window have been replaced with a GR letterbox. This addition is also painted rendered and has a large 4-pane horned sash window, maintaining the same roof-line as the house.

To the right of the house, there is a single-storey former forge, which has 20th-century fixed windows on either side of a broad 20th-century boarded door that is slightly left of centre. There is a lean-to garage on the right end wall. The rear of the house is made of rubble stone and has one inserted window, while the rear of the shop is rendered and features a sash window and door. The building has not been inspected.
