Description
Pont Rhyd y Fferau is a three-arch bridge built with a flat deck made of snecked rock-faced stone. It features wide segmental arches constructed of stone voussoirs, each with raised keystones. The bridge has triangular cut-waters topped with domed caps that rise as narrow pilasters against the parapets. There is a string course along the parapets and flat stone copings that have a slight chamfer. The shallow end piers are at the same height as the parapets. Additionally, there is a contemporary wall that runs at right angles to the southeast.
