Description
The Former Dol y Coed Pump Room is a single-storey building oriented north-south. It features a cement-rendered exterior set on a plinth, topped with a high hipped roof covered in slate and adorned with ridge cresting. The eaves are very wide and supported by ornamental brackets. The eastern front is symmetrical, with slightly recessed end doorways that have flat heads. These doorways contain boarded four-panel doors with panelled reveals. Between the doorways, there are four wooden windows with six panes each, flat heads, and stone sills. There are no openings on the gable ends. At the rear, there are two windows under shallow segmental heads, both of which are two-light multi-pane casements.
Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection, but it is reported to have tie-beams and flying braces that support the trusses of the boarded roof.
