Description
The building is a two-storey plus attic commercial property, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of grey rubble walls with stone chimneys and a slate roof.
The front of the building, facing northwest, has three bays. Each end bay features a gable with attic rooms above. The windows are sash windows with 9 small panes, although hornless. The first-floor windows in the end bays are 16-pane hornless sashes. The central first-floor window is a narrower 12-pane hornless sash. All windows have slightly cambered frames and voussoir lintels. A central entrance doorway is also topped with a voussoir lintel.
The northeast-facing elevation is two storeys wide with two windows. The first floor has two 16-pane hornless sash windows. On the ground floor, a 16-pane hornless sash window is located to the right, and a 19th-century shopfront is to the left. The shopfront has stone panels and gabled end buttresses with stylized lotus decoration above the cornices. A fascia board is topped with iron railings. The shopfront now has modern glazing and a modern door.
