Description
Whilome is a two-storey house featuring grey rough-cast render. The roof is made of small grey slates from Gallt y Llan quarry in Snowdon, laid in graded courses, and the chimneys are constructed from brown brick. The windows are wooden casements with diaper-camed designs.
The house has paired gables facing The Close, with the outer slopes descending to the ground floor at a less steep angle. There are tall windows in the gables, along with smaller, almost square windows between them. A central gabled porch features a Gothic arch, with a narrower Gothic arch leading to the doorway. The rooms to the left and right of the porch have pairs of 2-light casement windows.
Inside, there is a lobby that leads to a hall flanked by dining and drawing rooms, which can be interconnected through a system of moveable screen doors. The kitchen and scullery are located at the rear of the house.
