Description
The Haven is a two-storey house with a rough-cast render that is now painted white. The roof is made of graded courses of small dark blue and russet slates sourced from Gallt y Llan quarry in Snowdon, and it features central chimneys constructed from red-brown brick.
The entrance front has paired gables that are positioned at right angles to the Close. The outer roof slopes of the gables extend down over the ground floor at a lower pitch. The first floor is adorned with tall windows, while the ground floor includes a central internal porch that has a pointed arch and a pointed arched doorway. This porch is flanked by broad small pane casement windows. To the left, there are two windows that light the main room. The right elevation features, to the left, a single almost square window, and to the right, a pointed arched doorway leading to a shallow porch that has square-headed doorways for both the entrance and a storage area. At the rear of the house, there are tall casement windows on each gable, along with small square windows for the bathroom and toilet below. Below these windows, there are a pair of shallow buttresses flanked by broad small pane casement windows.
