Description

Dwyfor is a two-storey house featuring rough-cast render that is painted white. The roof is made of graded courses of small grey and russet slates sourced from Gallt y Llan quarry in Snowdon. The chimneys are constructed from red-brown brick, with a taller central group on the ridge flanked by lower stacks that are mostly covered by slates over the flues.

The entrance front, which faces Close, has paired gables with outer slopes that extend down over the ground floor. The first floor has tall windows with small-pane metal casements. On the ground floor, there is a central internal porch topped with a Gothic arch, above which is a wooden gabled slated canopy. The pointed arched entrance doorway features the original door and is flanked by broad small-pane casement windows. The right elevation includes a single small-pane casement window.

At the rear, there are pairs of tall casement windows on each gable, and at a lower level, a central grouping of two narrow small-pane windows flanks a circular window. Below these, there is a Gothic arched doorway leading to a recessed porch, which is flanked by shallow low buttresses, and there are 3-light casements on each side of the ground floor.

Additionally, there is a garage at the rear, built with matching materials, featuring a hipped small-slate roof and walls in roughcast render.
