Description
Bryn Ffawydd is a two-storey house featuring rough-cast render that is now painted white. The roof is made of graded courses of small, mainly grey slates sourced from Gallt y Llan quarry in Snowdon. It has stepped chimneys constructed of brown brick positioned at the ridge.
The elevation facing The Close includes cross gables at each end, with the outer slopes extending down to the ground floor. Each gable has a small-pane metal casement window on the first floor. The ground floor features two smaller windows on the left gable and a broader window on the right gable. The roof slopes down between the gables and includes a large hipped slated dormer with a broad small-pane window. The roof also overhangs a square-headed door and small-pane glazing that forms a shallow porch. The left elevation has a single 4-light small-pane casement window.
At the rear, the southeast gable has been extended using matching materials. The northwest wall features three narrow windows, resembling dormers, positioned under the sloping roof.
