Description
Parciau is a two-storey house that features rough cast render, which is now painted white. The roof is made of small grey and russet slates from Gallt y Llan quarry in Snowdon, laid in graded courses, and there are two tall chimney stacks made of brown brick on the ridge.
The front elevation has two gabled dormers with small pane replacement windows beneath drip moulds. The roof overhangs the front wall on corbels but is flush at the gable ends of the house. The roof slopes down to the right over a porch, which has a hipped roof supported on the left by a wooden post and is now glazed. The entrance doorway is square-headed with an original boarded door. To the right of the porch is a polygonal bay that has five sides, clasping the angle of the building and covered by a roof of small slates. The windows in the bay have small pane replacement glazing. To the left of the porch, there are three small pane replacement casement windows.
At the rear, the roof slope features a striking group of three small steep gabled dormers, which are also rough cast render with slate roofs and small square windows.
Additionally, there is a garage at the rear with a thick slate roof that is hipped over the doors, and the walls are finished in roughcast render.
