No.4 Bryn Haul

Nos 3 and 4 Bryn Haul are a pair of semi-detached houses located in Llanfairfechan. They date from the early 20th century and feature grey rough-cast render with pale grey and buff small-slate roofs topped with red copings. The houses have brick chimneys and small-pane metal casement windows.

These two-storey houses are designed as a mirrored pair, with a central block and cross gables at each end. The gables have roofs that slope down to the first floor level, and between the gables, the roof continues down to the ground floor. There are paired dormer windows in the roof slope, and the central ground floor is set back to create a porch beneath the roof overhang, featuring entrance doorways at the angles and broad windows in the center. The doors are boarded, and the chimneys are made of brown brick, with a taller shared central stack that is stepped with slates over the angles of the steps, and lower stacks at the end cross ridges.

The rear of the houses is similar to the front, but the ground floor is not set back. There are paired dormer windows in the roof between the gables, which each have springers at the ends and two windows on the first floor. Below these are windows for the kitchen and pantry areas, while broad windows towards the center light the living rooms.

Inside each house, an angled entrance doorway leads to a small hall with stairs. The ground floor features open beamed ceilings and consists of two living rooms, a kitchen, and a pantry. The first floor contains three bedrooms and a bathroom.
