No.1 Bryn Haul

Nos 1 and 2 Bryn Haul are a pair of semi-detached houses located in Llanfairfechan. They were built with grey rough-cast render and feature pale grey and buff small-slate roofs with red copings. The houses have brick chimneys and small-pane metal casement windows.

These two-storey houses are a mirrored pair, with a central block and cross gables at each end. The gable roofs sweep down to the first-floor level, while the roof between the gables slopes down to the ground floor. Each house has paired dormer windows in the roof slope, and the central ground floor is set back to create a porch beneath the roof overhang, with entrance doorways in the angles and broad windows in the centre. The doors are boarded, and the chimneys are made of brown brick, featuring a taller shared central stack that is stepped with slates over the angles of the steps, along with lower stacks at the end cross ridges.

The rear of the houses is similar to the front, but the ground floor is not set back. There are paired dormer windows in the roof between the gables, and each gable has springers at the ends with two windows on the first floor. Below these are windows for the kitchen and pantry areas, while broad windows towards the centre light the living rooms.

Inside each house, an angled entrance doorway leads to a small hall with stairs. The ground floors have open beamed ceilings and consist of two living rooms, a kitchen, and a pantry. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms and a bathroom.
